The ICAR  AICE JRF/SRF 2021 counselling process has concluded on January 15 with four rounds of counselling. The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF counselling process 2021 had commenced on November 17. On January 15, selected candidates had to report o the institutes online and get the fee reconciliation done, which marked the end of the counselling process for ICAR AIEEA UG 2021. 

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducts the All India Competitive Examination (AICE) in order to offer candidates admission in Doctoral Degree Programmes (PhD) and an award for JRF/SRF (PGS). The ICAR AICE SRF/JRF is conducted on behalf of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF is conducted in 73 subjects at 88 cities all over the country to ensure participation for admission in doctoral degree programmes in different disciplines of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary, Animal Sciences, Agril. Engineering, Community Science (erstwhile Home Science), Fisheries, Dairy Science and other allied sciences.

The following table brings the key features and highlights of the exam. 

The ICAR AIECE JRF/SRF 2021 counselling process is being conducted in an online mode. The process commenced with the release of rank card and counselling letter on the official website of ICAR, icar.org.in on November 16. Qualified candidates had to register for the counselling process by filling up the online form with the mandatory details and paying the registration fee of INR 500. The next step is Choice Filling wherein candidates have to make the choice of courses/universities in the stipulated time period. Candidates can update his/her choices any number of times before the last date/until the choices are locked by the candidate. On the last day of choice filling his/her last saved choices will be automatically locked and the same list will be considered for further counselling rounds. The eligible candidates who have been allotted any seat (subject to document verification and payment of Seat Acceptance Fee) will be intimated through email and SMS about the allotted course and University and they will be able to download the Allotment Letter from the portal. They have to upload all the relevant documents within a stipulated period on the ICAR AICE Counselling portal for verification by the concerned universities. The candidate is not required to physically report for admission at the admitting university during any round of counselling. Upon successful verification of documents, they will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of INR 10,000 or opt for seat degradation. Candidates will have to produce all the original documents (as uploaded by him/her on the portal) for physical verification by the university during registration or attending classes in the finally allotted university.

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to download the ICAR AICE JRF/SRF 2021 result:

• Enter ICAR AICE JRF/SRF Application Number, Password or Date of Birth and Security Pin
• Click on 'Submit'
• Download and view the ICAR AICE JRF/SRFscorecard

• Indian nationals who have passed Master’s Degree programme with a minimum of Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) from any public-funded/Govt. the institution will be eligible. In other cases, where grade points are not awarded and only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured a minimum per cent score as shown in the table below:

• Candidates passed out from private universities which are not accredited by ICAR, are not eligible for the examinations. Students who have studied from private universities accredited by ICAR are eligible.
• The candidate must complete the postgraduate degree in all respects and should have all the degree-completion requirements at the time of Counseling/admission in the university failing which they will not be considered for admission and the award of the fellowship.
• Education Qualification – The candidate should have done their postgraduate programme with a minimum Overal Grade Pont Average (OGPA) from any university which is accredited by ICAR.
• Age Criteria: Candidate should be 20 years old minimum to apply.

The admission process for ICAR AICE JRF/SRF is as follows:

Registration: Candidates had to visit the official website of ICAR AICE NTA and register themselves. The candidates needed to register to get details on email ID and mobile phone. Once registered, they could proceed to apply for admission in the course interested in.

Fill Up Application Form: Once registered candidates could proceed to apply online. They had to enter the following details:

• Personal Details – Name, Address, Phone No, Category, Parents Details
• Academic Details – Class 10, Class 12, Graduation, Postgraduation details
• Upload Images – Passport Size Photograph and Signature
• Pay Application Fee – Via Online mode – Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card

Admit Card: Once candidates successfully applied online, they could download the admit card which was released on the official website of ICAR AICE NTA. The admit card is an important document that needs to be carried to the exam centre which will be mentioned on the admit card.

ICAR AICE JRF/SRF Exam: Students need to appear for the national-level entrance exam which will be conducted in online mode i.e. computer-based test. Students are advised to reach the allotted exam centre at the given time.

Results: The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF results were released online on the official website of ICAR AICE NTA. Students have to log in to check the results. The results contain the candidate’s marks secured and percentage.

Counselling: Students who make the merit list, will have to appear for the counselling session at the given date and time. The counselling session will be done online and students can book their seat on the basis of rank secured and position on the merit list. The counselling details will be mentioned on the official website of ICAR.

A. Yes. The candidate needs to meet the ICAR AICE eligibility before applying for admission to the course interested in.

A. No. There is no provision of direct nomination for admission through ICAR in any Doctoral degree programme without qualifying in ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF(PhD).

A. The ICAR AICE exam duration is of two hours (120 Minutes).

A. Yes. Answer Keys were released on October 4 and the challenges could be submitted by October 5.

NTA has released the ICAR AICE JRF/SRF 2021 result on October 25. The ICAR AICE 2021 counselling process has been announced on November 16 and will be conducted from November 17 to January 15, 2022. The answer keys were released on October 4 and the last date to submit the answer key challenges was October 5. The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF 2021 exam was conducted on September 17. The admit card was released on September 10. The application forms for ICAR AICE JRF/SRF 2021 were released online on July 25. The last date to apply for the national-level entrance exam was extended from August 20 to August 27. The ICAR AICE was conducted on September 17.

Application Form: The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF 2021 application form was released online on July 25. Candidates can apply online, fill in the details as required and upload their documents. The last date to submit the application form is till August 27 (5 pm) and the application fee has to be paid by 11.50 pm on the same date.

Admit Card: Candidates who successfully fill and submit the application form were eligible to download the ICAR AICE admit card online on the official website. The admit card contained the details of the candidate as mentioned on the application form. The hall ticket is an important document which needs to be carried to the exam centre.

ICAR AICE JRF/SRF Exam: The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF exam was conducted on September 17, 2021. Candidates were advised to reach the exam centre well in time and should have their admit cards. Students should carefully go through the exam pattern, marking scheme and syllabus before appearing for the entrance test.

ICAR AICE JRF/SRF Result: The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF 2021 results have been released on the official website of ICAR AICE NTA on October 25. The results have been released in the form of a scorecard.

Counselling: Candidates will have to book their seats via online counselling. The date and schedule for the online counselling will be released on the official website of ICAR.
